Swimming Creatures 5 Assorted Rare Guppy Live Tropical Freshwater Fish
The Swimming Creatures Mixed Fancy Guppy Pack offers a vibrant and diverse collection of guppies distinguished by bright colors and intricate patterns. Each shipment’s assortment varies naturally according to seasonal availability, ensuring a unique aquarium sight every time. Maintaining the specified water parameters—temperature between 72°F and 82°F, pH between 6.8 and 7.8, and low nitrate levels—is essential to keep these tropical fish thriving.
This product includes Dead on Arrival (DOA) coverage for customer assurance. Guppies are excellent for beginners and those looking to add dynamic color to their freshwater tanks.
Live Freshwater Angelfish – 4-Pack (5 Total) Peaceful, Colorful Fish
This pack includes 4 angelfish plus 1 bonus fish, designed to be peaceful centerpiece species for any freshwater aquarium. Angelfish are appreciated for their graceful shape and flowing fins, adding tranquility and elegance to aquarium displays. The seller advises recording an unboxing video to provide proof for claims in case of dead arrivals within one hour.
Ideal for a community tank, these angelfish enhance the aesthetics while coexisting peacefully with other compatible species.
6 Pack – Striped Kuhli Loach Live Freshwater Aquarium Fish
The Striped Kuhli Loach pack delivers six slender, bottom-dwelling fish known for their eel-like appearance. These loaches are peaceful and active scavengers, helping maintain the tank’s cleanliness by consuming leftover food. Like other live fish shipments, the seller requires a clear photo within 24 hours to address potential delivery problems.
Kuhli loaches prefer sandy substrates and densely planted tanks, making them suitable companions for peaceful community inhabitants.
Neon Tetra (Paracheirodon innesi) Live Freshwater Aquarium Fish
The Swiming Creatures Neon Tetra are prized for their iridescent blue and red stripes, adding vibrant colors to community tanks. These small, peaceful fish measure approximately 1.5 cm and thrive best in stable water conditions. They are ideal for beginners and aquarium hobbyists seeking lively shoaling fish.
Note that this product requires attention to shipping conditions, avoiding extreme temperatures below 32°F or above 92°F, which may affect fish survival and invalidate DOA claims.
Amazon Sword – Echinodorus Bleheri x3 Live Aquarium Plants
Complementing your live fish, the Amazon Sword Echinodorus Bleheri plants are sturdy and attractive background plants, growing between 20 to 50 cm tall. They thrive in both low and moderate aquarium lighting and add natural aesthetics and oxygenation benefits.
Regular pruning is necessary to prevent overshadowing smaller plants beneath. Their undemanding nature makes them an excellent addition for both beginners and experienced aquarists alike.
Buying Guide for Live Aquarium Fish Delivery
When ordering live aquarium fish online, several key considerations ensure successful and healthy arrivals:
Species Selection and Compatibility
Choose fish species that match your aquarium size, water parameters, and existing tank mates. Peaceful fish like guppies, neon tetras, and angelfish work well in community tanks, while bottom dwellers like kuhli loaches help with substrate maintenance.
Shipping Conditions and Timing
Check the seller’s shipping policies regarding temperature control and delivery speed. Avoid ordering during extreme weather to reduce risks of stress or mortality. Many reputable sellers require proof such as photos or videos upon delivery for dead-on-arrival claims.
Water Parameter Requirements
Ensure your aquarium water matches the preferred conditions of the fish species (temperature, pH, hardness). Stable water chemistry is vital in reducing fish stress post-arrival and sustaining long-term health.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policies
Reliable sellers will have clear DOA guarantees and claim procedures. Familiarize yourself with the timeframe for reporting issues and the required documentation to qualify for replacements or refunds.
Inclusion of Plants and Tank Enhancements
Live plants like Amazon swords or aquarium plant seeds enhance water quality and provide natural hiding spots for fish. Consider pairing live fish delivery with plants to boost your aquatic ecosystem’s health and appearance.
Customer Reviews and Seller Reputation
Look for sellers with positive feedback regarding fish health upon arrival and responsive customer service. Verified buyer reviews can provide insights into consistent quality and shipment reliability.
